Nu-Roc has had the honor of serving many residents from different walks of life throughout the years. Over time, numerous letters of thanks and gratitude have been received. As a dedication to our staff and their commitment for the utmost care and compassion to our residents, we offer the following words that have been shared with us by those families.
Thanks to everyone at NuRoc Community Healthcare! To the staff at NuRoc, thanks so much, I am at home now and it feels so good; The nurses, so professional and kind; |

Paul, Craig, and the Staff of NuRoc Nursing Home; We would like to express our sincere thanks to all of you for the care of our wife and Mother, our beloved Nonabelle. The love and attention given to Nonabelle during the years she spent at your care facility were above what was ever expected. The time Nonabelle spent at NuRoc was filled not only with care by all of your providers, but also with an enormous amount of love, shown by so many of the staff. Nonabelle thought of NuRoc as her second home and was resolved to stay here until she was called to her home in Heaven. We appreciate the thoughtfulness shown by NuRoc at Nonabelle's funeral service. We are forever grateful for all your devotion to Nonabelle throughout her time at NuRoc.

I, Jeanne Haskins, would like to compliment the administration and staff of Nu-Roc Community Healthcare on the excellent care I received over a period of seven weeks this summer as a resident recovering from a broken ankle. This note also includes the appreciation of my husband, Cliff Haskins, who was present as a visitor and companion each day of those seven weeks. We could sum up our thanks by simply saying we appreciate the overall quality of care and attention we received, but what does that mean? CARE --- The personalized attention to my physical needs and those of all the residents: |
Detailed records and dispensing of personal medications. The much needed, healing, every day physical therapy provided by professional and trained staff. The cheerful and prompt response, day or night, given by the aides to calls for assistance. The regular monitoring and recording of health conditions by the nurses. And yes, the food --- Good! Served according to any special needs. Menu choices. Comfortable, well lighted and decorated dining room. Daily snacks --- ice cream, juices, etc, brought to the rooms. |
And we enjoyed some of our meals together outside on the deck, looking out over lawn and flowers. (Guest meals available at a modest cost). And all the planned activities, parties and outings that seem to include something for everyone with different abilities and interests. This includes the contributions from area volunteers. The quick response of maintenance to make the room more personal and accommodating. Rooms that are air conditioned, equipped with cable TV and optional private phones. |
The individual interest in all of us as persons that we felt and observed. Calling us by our names. And patience, along with kindness, when at times that seemed to be too much to expect. And there is the spiritual care available, provided on a regular schedule by local clergy and lay volunteers. Many of the residents, including staff, have known each other for several years before coming to Nu-Roc. This helps make it a family of friends, an extension of community. The name says it: Nu-Roc Community Healthcare! Thank you for this quality service to our community. |
December 18, 2010 To Whom it May Concern, I wish to thank all of the Nu-Roc employees for the excellent care I received while at your home. I would not have made it without you. You are very special people. I also want to thank my family and friends for the cards, letters, and encouragement. I'm wishing you all a very Merry Christmas and a happy, and healthy, New Year. Sincerely, Grace Phillips |
Please accept our thanks and love for all the wonderful things you did for Mom. The administration and staff were so loving and kind to her - beyond measure. To Craig, Paul, and all the staff, Thank you for the beautiful rose that you sent (picture is on the front). I also want to thank you once again for your outstanding care during my stay at Nu-Roc. I know that my rapid progress was due to the professional care and friendliness of the staff.

Craig and Paul Newton, Congratulations on your five-star rating from the CMS! My mother, Irene Joppa, received five-star treatment all six years she was a resident of Nu-Roc. Thank you and your employees for the excellent care you provide to your residents.
|
I want to thank the staff at Nu-Roc for going the extra mile to assist one of our aging Veterans (Steven Schultz) with his move to Laona Manor. Although virtue is its own reward, it is fitting to acknowledge a special deed when one is confronted with a kindness so rare in this period of time. God Bless and God speed in your kindnesses. Dear Friends: It has been 11+ years since we entrusted our dear mother, Eva, to your care. Please accept our sincere and heartfelt gratitude for the excellent care and love our mother received at your home. Every part of your facility, from management, office staff, nursing, caregiver, food service and maintenance, treated Eva with care only a loving and caring family could provide. Eva was always clean, safe and cared for with the highest level of love and respect.
|
We will miss our mother, Eva, but we know that she rests in God's eternal home. Our family will always look back with fondness to Eva's Nu-Roc family and be comforted knowing she received the loving care and respect you provided. Thank you for all you do for everyone at the Nu-Roc Community Healthcare facility. ![]() |
