Nu-Roc Community Healthcare Receives 5-Star Rating from CMS
We are proud to announce that we have received an overall quality rating of five stars from the CMS (Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services). We are one of the 15% of Wisconsin nursing homes to receive this five-star rating, compared to 12% nationally.
This past summer, we adopted a new slogan, along with a new look. The slogan, “When Only the Best Will Do,” now has recognition from the nursing home industry to back it up. We acknowledge that when a business receives this kind of honor or special recognition, it is largely due to a staff that enjoys and takes pride in their work. Nu-Roc is fortunate to have such a team, and we want to congratulate and thank them for their dedication and service to the nursing home’s residents.
On December 18, 2008, the CMS launched its "Quality Rating System" for the nursing home industry. It developed a methodology to assign star ratings for all nursing homes throughout the country. A nursing home’s overall quality rating is based on its ratings for health inspections, quality measures, and staffing.
